Confident Goddess: Skyrocketing Your Self-Confidence:
Self-Confidence affects all facets of your life, including your career, relationships, and your ability to bring in financial abundance. Do you have the confidence to set clear goals and believe that you can reach them? Confidence all begins with your mind-set. For instance, do you have a dream to buy your own home or start a business, but feel you can't afford it on your own? Don't let this mindset block you from your dreams! You can do it. As an example, even though I was raised by my single, divorced mom in near-poverty as a youth, I didn't let these obstacles stop me. I set a goal to own my own condo by the age of 24, and I did it as a single woman. There are several simple things you can do daily to shift your thinking into a place of higher confidence. One Goddess archetype that symbolizes strength and confidence for women is the Egyptian goddess Sekhmet. One day this week as you practice this emerging mind-set, dress in a favorite outfit that makes you feel at your most confident. Notice situations where you feel more confident and praise yourself once a day or more for every step towards your goal.

Sensual Goddess: Unleashing Your Inner Sensuality:
How
do you feel when you say the following: ‘It’s OK to enjoy my life’, and
‘I can enjoy sensual pleasures’? Do
you feel a twinge of guilt when you say those statements?
Say ‘hello’ to that feeling, acknowledge that we may have unwittingly
been trained to shut down sensuality, and then let the guilt go.
The Divine created us out of pure love- our bodies are Divine light put
into form! What if you were made
into physical form, not to deride the body, but to acknowledge it, and enjoy the
experience of being in a body?
Aphrodite is one Goddess archetype that illustrates the importance of sensuality
and taking care of our body. Find
loving ways to acknowledge your sensuality and enjoy it daily.
For example, buy some silky, luxurious sheets for your bed and enjoy the
texture against your skin. You
don’t have to be ‘practical’ with everything in your room.
Another idea, before you actually eat a meal, sit down and take a few
moments to savor the smell and look of the food.
By doing simple things like these, you will become more in tune with your
body and life will become more pleasurable.
